Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.
+ Collaborate with Marketing leadership to architect and execute the future of marketing technology, addressing pressing challenges and envisioning innovative solutions.
+ Take ownership of growing and iterating first-party (1P) data for the Media (i.e., Entertainment and Sports) Group, driving engagement and retention initiatives while providing stakeholders with actionable insights through comprehensive dashboards and reports.
+ Lead and execute multi-dimensional projects involving consumer engagement, real-time data processing, and analytics platforms.
+ Lead, coach, and motivate cross-functional teams including marketing, technology, and analytics, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence in both vision and execution.
+ Work closely with CRM, Data/Audience, Consumer Engagement, and Promo Planning teams to facilitate their goals and objectives, fostering synergies and maximizing outcomes.
+ Collaborate with Audience & Data Strategy, Consumer Product teams, and Digital Marketing teams to align campaign goals, ensuring holistic strategies focused on growth and engagement.
+ Identify opportunities to iterate upon 1P data collection strategies, collaborating with various groups to evangelize and activate data-driven insights for clear business value.
+ Cultivate strategic partnerships, particularly with the Gaming/Gambling group, acting as a “growth hacker” to drive business growth and value.
+ Work in partnership with the Enterprise Product team to integrate marketing technology solutions seamlessly into overarching product strategies and initiatives.
+ Be proactive in testing and showcasing innovative solutions, emphasizing the importance of experimentation and adaptation in a rapidly evolving landscape.
+ Manage vendor relationships to ensure timely delivery of work aligned with the scope outlined in their statement of work (SOW).
+ Drive and manage budgets effectively, demonstrating clear business value for each investment and fostering understanding among Marketing partners regarding the rationale behind strategic investments.
+ Standardize and optimize the marketing technology (MarTech) stack for the Consumer Engagement group, promoting interoperability and efficiency.
Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
+ Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Market Analytics, Market Research, Sport Studies, Sport Management or a related field (or foreign degree equivalent)
+ Plus two (2) years of experience in the job offered, as a Program Manager, Product Manager or in a related occupation.
The position requires each of the following skills, which must have been gained through two (2) years of experience:
+ Progressively responsible experience with marketing technology, with a focus on consumer engagement, data, and analytics;
+ Experience with data lakes, customer data platforms (CDPs), enterprise-scale email service providers (ESPs), and attribution modeling tools;
+ Experience leading and delivering highly complex technology focused projects;
+ Experience with key marketing technologies, including: Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Marketing Cloud, Snowflake, Tableau, and Microsoft PowerBI;
+ Experience successfully implementing and optimizing marketing platforms in large-scale, complex environments;
+ Experience with marketing principles, data analytics, and technology solutions;
+ Experience with budget management and vendor relationship management;
+ Experience with advanced data analytics, machine learning algorithms, and their applications in marketing.

Salary range: $146,390- $147,000 per year
Full-time: 40 hours/week
