Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.
Position Overview
The Sales Analyst will help support the USH Sales Department from a reporting and analysis standpoint, measuring the performance of the Sales channels and clients that sell the Universal Studios admission tickets. This role will help analyze opportunities to maximize revenue through performance of ticket programs and offers sold through Trade clients. The ideal candidate would be a highly motivated, effective communicator with a strong analytical skillset. This position requires advanced Excel skills and the ability to turn data into actionable information.
Responsibilities
Core responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
+ Ensure accuracy of performance results for Sales channels (attendance, revenue, and per cap metrics)
+ Support analytical ad hoc projects through data mining, analysis, and presentation of results / insights
+ Contribute to attendance and pricing planning models and analysis of promotional offers
+ Analyze Events business through revenue pacing (lead to prospect to confirmed bookings)
+ Prepare pricing charts for client addendums
Basic Qualifications
+ BA or BS degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related area
+ 2+ years in related work experience in Analytics
+ Excellent project management, organization, and time management skills
+ Strong attention to detail and accuracy
+ Ability to adapt and work well in a fast-paced, results-oriented, and rapidly changing environment while delivering on multiple assignments
+ Ability to write, speak and present effectively (good communication skills)
+ Aptitude for complex problem solving, analytical mindset
+ High proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
+ Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively across the organization
+ Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week (In office Tuesday through Thursdays, Work from home Mondays and Fridays)
Desired Qualifications
Ideal candidate will have most of the following qualifications:
+ Working knowledge of Microstrategy Data Warehouse
+ Cross-platform analytic experience strongly preferred
+ Ability to work in a team environment, proactive with initiative and results oriented
+ Willingness to learn new systems
