As an Avionics Technician I, you will be using your skills and expertise to repair and maintain electronic systems involved with the operation of an aircraft. You'll be assisting with installing, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing our aircraft avionics and electrical system components and keeping our aircraft in airworthy condition.

Must-haves:

+ High school diploma or GED equivalent

+ A higher-level degree may substitute for experience

+ Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education

+ Basic understanding of applicable technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals and/or publications; ability to route wires per technical drawings

+ Familiarity with avionics installation tooling

+ Exposure to wiring, wiring repair, and wiring installation

+ Experience with soldering and crimping techniques

+ Current/valid passport and be able to obtain a Visa to travel international.

+ Ability to meet current DoD and Combatant Command restriction requirements for deployed locations.

+ Ability to deploy for a minimum of 90 days to various OCONUS operating locations.

+ Must be willing and able to work extended hours, holidays, and shift schedules as required.

Preferred:

+ Familiarity with FCC and FCC GROL

+ Basic understanding of spectrometer, Oscilloscope and/or Pitot static equipment

+ Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US Military
