Our client is small manufacturing firm offering growth and advancement opportunities.

This is a direct hire **Machine Operator/Assembler** position, meaning you will be hired permanently with our client and offered their competitive benefit and vacation package upon hire.

Details:

• Great 1st shift hours: Monday – Friday 7:00am-3:30pm

• $25-30/hr. based on skills and experience

• Westland, MI

Position Information:

• Assembly of parts and components based on design specifications

• Reading and understand blueprints and technical drawings

• Ensure assembled parts meet quality specifications

• Operate various manual machines and equipment

• Perform MIG and/or TIG welding including inspection of completed parts

• Sheet metal fabrication

• Transport of metal parts and components

Required Experience:

• Ability to read/understand blueprints and GD&T to properly assemble parts

• 2+ years of assembly experience required

• Previous experience with MIG Welding preferred

• Metal fabrication experience preferred

• Demonstrated ability to remain motivated without direct supervision

• Willingness to take charge of projects and lead initiatives
