Position Summary:

MLU Services LLC is looking for a Basecamp Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on trailers. The ideal candidate will have experience working with travel trailers and/or generator power.

Job Duties and Responsibilities include:

+ Perform daily maintenance on trailers and vehicles according to repair schedules or when assigned.

+ Knowledge in working with water, sewer, and electrical

+ Ensure all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner

+ Maintain accurate records of all work performed

+ Ability to maintain team communication and teamwork before, during and after operations.

+ Assist in deploying forces and equipment to an emergency disaster or for contingency operations.

+ Communicate with supervisor regarding repairs and maintenance

+ Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines

+ Follow and adhere to Chain of Command structure

Skills and Competencies:

+ Strong knowledge of travel trailers.

+ Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues quickly and efficiently

+ Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with maintenance tools, parts, etc.

+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team

+ Ability to work with others. Must be adaptable to performing under stress when confronted with emergency situations.

+ Ability to multitask and fill multiple roles to provide support for base camp operations when needed. May be asked to perform duties outside of normal scope of the duty.

+ Willingness to learn, follow directions, and perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

+ High school diploma or equivalent preferred

+ 2 years of experience working as a maintenance technician preferred

+ Effectively communicate verbally with all levels of staff, working independently and in a team environment.

+ Valid driver's license

+ Maintain a clean driving record and be able to safely pull trailers to and from locations as needed.

Physical Demands:

+ Ability to lift over 50+ pounds

+ Ability to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods of time

+ Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions
