COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST AT PRIMEFLIGHT
The Communications Specialist is responsible for managing internal and external communication strategies to enhance the organization's brand and reputation. This role involves crafting and disseminating engaging content through various channels, including social media, websites, and press releases. The Communications Specialist collaborates with different departments to ensure consistent messaging and responds to inquiries from passengers, the media, and other stakeholders. Additionally, you will play a key role in crisis communication management, handling public relations, and contributing to the overall success of the airport service provider's communication efforts.
RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Develop and implement communication strategies to support the company's goals and objectives
+ Manage internal and external communications, ensuring clear and consistent messaging
+ Write, edit, and distribute content, including press releases, newsletters, and social media posts
+ Coordinate with different departments to gather information and craft accurate messages
+ Monitor media coverage and respond to media inquiries in a timely and professional manner
+ Maintain and update the company's website and social media platforms
+ Organize and facilitate press conferences, interviews, and other media events
+ Create and maintain a positive public image for the company
+ Prepare communication materials for crisis management and emergency response situations
+ Analyze and report on the effectiveness of communication strategies and campaigns
+ Liaise with marketing teams to align communication efforts with promotional activities
+ Develop and maintain relationships with media representatives, stakeholders, and community groups
+ Train and guide staff on effective communication practices and company messaging
+ Keep abreast of industry trends, news, and developments to inform communication strategies
+ Manage and oversee the production of high-quality visual and written materials for various platforms
+ Perform any additional duties as assigned by management
QUALIFICATIONS
+ 18 years of age or older
+ Eligible to work in the United States
+ Ability to work in office, onsite, Monday-Friday
+ 2 years corporate communications experience
+ Must have a valid state-issued driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
+ Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking)
+ Bilingual in English/Spanish a plus
+ Effectively communicate with colleagues and clients, both in-person and through electronic means
+ Pass a background check and drug screen
+ Must be flexible to work extended hours on occasion to support our field operations

+ Specific vision abilities required for this job include: Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less); distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more); peripheral vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point); depth perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships); ability to adjust focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus)
