Job Description
The Calendar Prep unit is responsible for preparing and delivering disability cases for members of the service to the City/Union Trustees monthly and works closely with the NYPD Medical Division to meet required deadlines.
Under the direction of the Unit Supervisors, this candidate will be responsible for performing the duties and responsibilities described below, but not limited to, the following:
- Perform general clerical tasks, such as duplicating documents and filing records;
- Review, organize, and insert relevant information into appropriate formats;
- Answer telephone calls and assist Members in person as needed;
- Input and manage data in statistical databases;
- Work on special projects and any other duties as assigned by the supervisors of the division.
Shift: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Candidates must be permanent or on viable civil service list in the Clerical Associate title to be considered for this position.
Salary: The hiring rate being offered for this position is $45,000. The salary is non-negotiable.

NOTE: This is a full-time on-site position. The incumbent will be required to report to the office on a regular basis.

Qualifications
Qualification Requirements
A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent approved by a State's department of education or a recognized accrediting organization and one year of satisfactory clerical experience.
Skills Requirement
Keyboard familiarity with the ability to type at a minimum of 100 key strokes (20 words) per minute.
