The Opportunity

This position is an onsite opportunity in the Abbott Diabetes Care (ADC) Division in Alameda, CA. We are helping people with diabetes lead healthier, happier lives. Consistent and accurate glucose monitoring is the foundation of any diabetes management plan, so we are committed to continuous improvement in the way patients and professionals measure, track and analyze glucose levels.

As a Senior Manager Contracts Operations, you will be responsible for managing contract operations across multiple customer channels, including Managed Care, Medicare, Medicaid, DME, and Government. The position will work cross-functionally with Account Management, Finance, Forecasting, and Strategic Pricing and Contracting teams to provide strategic leadership and analytical insights to support decision-making. We seek an experienced finance or contract operations professional with strong attention to detail and ability to foster a collaborative work environment. **This is an onsite opportunity in Alameda, CA.**

What You’ll Do

+ Manage the team responsible for processing rebates and payment obligations for Managed Care, Medicare, Medicaid, DME, and Government channels and ensure accuracy of calculations and contractual terms.

+ Work cross functionally with Forecasting, Finance, and Commercial Teams to monitor payor price/volume mix.

+ Ensure team members accurately administer contracts by clearly interpreting and communicating contract obligations and deliverables.

+ Define and prioritize risks and be able to communicate those risks to appropriate internal stakeholders for discussion and resolution.

+ Ensure compliance with all internal and external controls including contract operation activities.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement contract operational effectiveness and drive continuous process improvements.

+ Identify and anticipate key trends and assess opportunities and risks for contract operations and downstream and/or horizontal impacts.

+ Act as a strategic business partner across various functions, providing analytical insights and reporting to support senior level decision making that impacts the business.

+ Lead and develop a team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Experience You’ll Bring

Required

+ B.A./B.S. required

+ At least 9+ years’ experience in roles of progressive responsibility to develop the competence required to meet the skills and responsibilities of the position.

+ Accomplished and skillful in execution.

+ Strong financial acumen, including compliance

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills

+ Effective leadership skills

+ Strong customer orientation and focus

+ Professional presence and polished presentation skills.

+ Ability to evaluate complex processes.

Preferred

+ 7+ years relevant experience in Finance and/or Contract Operations

+ MBA, or other advanced degree relevant to the position is preferred (Accounting, Finance or Healthcare management)

+ Possess strong analytical skills, financial acumen, executive presence and communication skills.

+ Experience with Tableau or other visual analytics/BI software packages a plus

+ Knowledge of Managed Care, DME, Government channels

The base pay for this position is $128,000.00 – $256,000.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
