About the Role

Exception Processor Position in Carol Stream, IL $16.00/Hr (NOT REMOTE) bonus incentive Hours 8 am-4:30 PM

Conduent has an immediate opening for an Exceptions Processor at our Call Center in Carol Stream, IL. The Exception Processor performs work under general supervision and will require considerable training and experience and broad working knowledge of a special matter. Under immediate supervision, the associate will ensure proper processing of data updates. The associate will perform routine tasks requiring a working knowledge of the client’s products and services.

Responsibilities

1. Accurately enter data updates in specific software programs.

2. Communicates appropriate options for resolution promptly.

3. Maintains a high level of confidentiality, informational accuracy, and production.

4. Participates in team meetings, making recommendations to management to improve efficiency and effectiveness as appropriate.

5. Must be familiar with telephone systems and window-based computer applications.

6. Provides functional guidance, training, and assistance to new hire staff as needed.

7. Must be able to work under strict deadlines and timeframes.

8. All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education/Skill/Experience Requirements:

1. Strong written and oral communication skills are a must

2. At least 1 year of Customer Service experience

3. High School diploma, or college degree (preferred)

4. Knowledge of the use of PCs and related software

5. Strong analytical abilities and data entry background

6. Proficient keyboard skills and typing speed

7. Excellent time and attendance commitment

8. Ability to multi-task and follow guidelines or direction

9. Willing to learn new tasks and be cross-trained in multiple functions and areas

10. Attention to detail and accuracy oriented

11. Background and drug screen required.

For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation and/or sick time. The estimated salary range for this role is $16.00
