Abbott Vascular provides innovative, minimally invasive and cost-effective products for treatment of vascular disease. The Opportunity:
This opportunity to join our Global Strategic Marketing organization is a key role that advances our mission to transform healthcare for patients impacted by vascular disease through the development and delivery of innovative technologies. Based on-site at our Santa Clara, California location, the role of Global Marketing Manager is pivotal for the growth of our endovascular product portfolio, which stands as a significant driver within the Vascular business.
This position requires strategic thinking and operational excellence to unlock market potential through groundbreaking product launches, such as Esprit BTK, and expand the portfolio into underpenetrated and emerging markets globally. The selected candidate will be instrumental in building investment cases to support the continued growth and expansion of our Endovascular business, while driving initiatives that shape the future of this space.

Success in this role demands expertise in medical technology, a track record of high-performing leadership in cross-functional and competitive environments, and the ability to execute strategic marketing plans that redefine standards in vascular care.

What You'll Work On:
+ **Product Launch and Commercialization:** Spearhead the launch and commercialization of our endovascular product portfolio, ensuring alignment with customer needs and market demands. Develop and execute comprehensive launch plans that effectively introduce new products to the market, emphasizing their uniqueness and value proposition.
+ **Stakeholder Engagement:** Build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including cross-functional teams, field teams, and key opinion leaders.
+ **Strategic Planning:** Co-develop a comprehensive marketing and portfolio plan that drives product adoption and market penetration. Collaborate with sales teams to create and implement strategies that maximize product uptake and revenue.
+ **Market Research and Competitive Analysis:** Perform comprehensive analysis to identify new opportunities and trends in the endovascular market. Gain insights into customer demands, market dynamics, and competition to inform marketing strategies and differentiation efforts. Continuously monitor business performance and market trends to refine tactics and product offerings.
+ **Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Work closely with the upstream marketing team, new product development, clinical engineering, clinical science, medical affairs, regulatory, sales, and regional marketing teams to align franchise goals and strategies. Collaborate with regulatory and clinical teams to define the pathways for product approval and clinical trial design that align with marketing strategies. Act as a liaison to ensure smooth transitions from upstream activities to downstream marketing and sales efforts.
+ **Product Lifecycle Management:** Help manage the entire product lifecycle, including market introduction, geographic expansion, and eventual product discontinuation, ensuring continuous alignment with market needs.
Required Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in business, life sciences, engineering, or a related field.
+ At least five years of experience in marketing or product management, with a strong preference for experience in the medical devices sector.
+ Proven track record of managing product development from conception through commercialization.
+ Strong analytical skills and experience with market analysis, segmentation, and targeting.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ An MBA is highly preferred.
+ Direct experience with endovascular products or other related medical technologies.

The base pay for this position is $146,700.00 – $293,300.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
