    Job Overview

     

    TE Connectivity’s Quality and Reliability Engineering Teams analyze the ability of product and production systems to comply with customer and contractual requirements through established reliability factors. They design, recommend revisions and install quality control systems, develop and document analytical methods for establishing reliability of products and their components and conduct analysis on relative reliability with regards to cost, structure, weight, maintainability, facility of production, and availability of materials and equipment. Out teams develop, implement and monitor company environmental safety programs and policies to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental, health and safety regulations and recommend corrective actions if necessary. They are responsible for policies and practices to comply with applicable government regulations and industry requirements related to product environmental compliance, the implementation and management of technical and testing standards and specifications, quality control and reliability programs governing materials, product and processes, resulting in the optimization of material and labor, as well as failure analysis, root cause, corrective action and customer communication.

     

    A Sr. Quality Analyst Engineer works on systemic evaluation of quality processes, products, services, and manufacturing processes, to ensure that all products meet quality standards. They review, analyze and report on quality discrepancies, investigates problems and executes quality audits. SR Quality & Reliability Engineering II works closely with manufacturing, engineering, customers, or suppliers and subcontractors to ensure requirements are met.

    Job Duties

    + Develop & implement quality plans, manage CAPAs, Complaints, Non-Conformances, & procedures using current FDA regulations, ISO 13485 standard & other site standards in conjunction with other tools such as quality control statistics, lean manufacturing concepts, & six-sigma tools & analyses

    + Conducts validation testing (IQ,OQ, PQ) & knowledge of related protocols.

    + Provides root cause analysis & follow through on effective corrective actions.

    + Tracks & reports quality metrics such as KPIs.

    + Monitors product life cycle processes & products for adherence to company & regulatory standards & practices; monitoring the effectiveness of quality processes & tools.

    + Supports & leads projects in the Quality department for improvement & compliance initiatives.

    + Supports Assembly process

    + Drives continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the site quality system & product quality ensuring compliance to governing regulations & corporate policies & procedures.

    + Identifies process & procedural gaps & ensures policies/procedures are implemented to fulfil the organizational business strategy.

    + Establishes & maintains FMEA’s and validation plan

    What your background should look like:

    + Bachelor’s degree in appropriate field with a minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible professional level experience or equivalent work experience.

    + Extensive experience with Quality Risk Management, Reliability Engineering, Statistical Quality Control (SQC) & Root Cause Analysis (RCA).

    + Excellent communication skills with a demonstrated the ability to influence & lead.

    + Excellent “hands-on” technical skills.

    + Prior Mfg Assembly process support.

    + ASQ Certified Quality Engineer preferred

    + Six Sigma Green/Black belt preferred

    + Quality experience in component & device manufacturing preferred - medical device a plus.

    + Good working knowledge of ISO/FDA and other Product Development related regulatory requirements

    + SAP, PowerBi, MS Office, etc.

    + Proven leadership experience.

    COMPENSATION

    • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $98,600k - 147,800k annually (subject to change dependent on physical location)

    • Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.

    • Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
