    Key Responsibilities:

    + Set guidelines and standard procedures for producing documentation, establishing documentation schedules, and serve as the editing authority for final documents.

    + Create and manage detailed program and project plans that map directly to larger team goals.

    + Identify resource requirements, task owners, milestones, dependencies, and key risks.

    + Lead cross-functional internal teams through program milestones, serving as central coordination point.

    + Ensure new and existing publications follow established documentation procedures.

    + Lead internal process documentation.

    + Evaluate existing publications for quality, relevancy, and accuracy.

    + Create documents from technical information provided by technical staff or ensuring documents produced by technical staff are consistent with formats and standards.

    + Develop custom programs for web sites that will attract and appeal to users and provide desired information.

    + Create web applications and components from the requirements stage, through design, through production deployment.

    + Possess a thorough knowledge of programming and server software operations.

    + Develop new web applications through packaged and customized applications.

    + Create web front-end user interface to new or existing databases using a combination of HTML, SQL, C, VB, or other languages to make business applications accessible.

    + Design and implement user-driven templates, databases, and interfaces for ease of use.

    + May create company-wide Intranet.

    + Develop database-driven Web interfaces for rapid, real-time information sharing.

    + Develop external web portals allowing users to input and retrieve accurate information.

    + Experienced in graphics, layout, scripting, programming, as well as development involving compatibility and seamless integration with various technologies such as Java and ColdFusion.

    Work Environment:

    + Location: Annapolis Junction MD [On-site]

    + Travel Requirements: Minimal 0-20% Travel

    + Working Hours: Standard 40 hour per week

    Qualifications :

    Required:

    + Clearance: Top Secret with SCI

    + Experience creating and editing technical documents.

    + Ability to understand functional and technical specifications of IT systems.

    + Must have a solid background in technical terminology for complex, enterprise level systems.

    + Experience with translating technical details into user-friendly verbiage in the form of technical documentation.

    + Excellent communication and written skills.

    + Demonstrated ability to work independently.

    + Proven experience in logistics support in classified and OCONUS environments.

    Desired:

    + Proven experience in logistics support in classified and OCONUS environments.

    Basic Compensation:

    $150,000 to $165,000

     

    This range is for the Maryland area only

     

    The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

    Additional Compensation:

    KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of a sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
