**Description:** In this role, you will craft and implement internal communications plans to reach more than 35,000 employees in the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics business area\. You will partner with subject matter experts to translate complex subjects critical to our long\-term success\. You will create compelling and clear deliverables demonstrating impacts and benefits of transformation initiatives to the business and employees\. You will serve as a strategic advisor and thought partner to executives and their senior leadership teams\.
Responsibilities include:
• Lead and develop communications for the business area strategy, operating model and operational excellence, while making connections to culture and performance\.
• Provide internal executive communications support for the Strategy & Business Development vice president\.
• Support the Enterprise Performance team with communicating various initiatives\.
• Partner with the communications manager on developing and executing communications supporting business transformation initiatives\.
• Collaborate with colleagues on various leader and employee communications initiatives leveraging all internal communications channels\.
• Additional projects as assigned\.

Basic Qualifications:
• Experience with strategic communications planning and execution to reach executives and individual contributors\.
• Experience writing and editing content across multiple channels in AP Style \(key messages, talking points, articles, etc\.\)\.
• Experience providing communications consulting to senior leaders including development of messaging strategies and providing communications counsel to senior executives\.
• Experience translating complex subjects into digestible information for large audiences\.
•Experience using communications metrics and analytics tools to make data\-driven decisions\.
• Experience collaborating and influencing outcomes with stakeholders across the organization\.
• Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines\.
Desired Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field
• Familiarity with aerospace and defense industry or other complex, technical industries\.
• Experience using communications tools such as a content management system and/or bulk email platform\.
• Intrinsic motivation to perform effectively under competing priorities and tight deadlines with attention to detail\.
• Willing to learn and use AI and other tools, strong work ethic, and positive attitude\.

**Ability to Work Remotely:** Part\-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility\. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process\.
**Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits\.
**Schedule for this Position:** 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
