    Job Description:

    The Outreach Provider Relations Partner is responsible for oversight of outreach initiatives for a dedicated service line, as well as liaison functions for an assigned territory. This position reports directly to enterprise Outreach leadership.

     

    Responsibilities include working closely with system and/or regional leaders of the assigned service line to develop and implement outreach strategies to support their key initiatives, improve patient care, decrease cost, and improve quality. This position plays a vital role in the physician engagement and communication strategy across the clinically integrated network and supports the implementation of the network's stated objectives and value proposition. This position has frequent interactions with system service line leader, Medical Group leaders, hospital administrators, clinical program leadership teams, and providers across the applicable geography.

     

    This position is based in St. George, Utah. The candidate needs to either live in the St. George area, or be willing to relocate to the St. George area.

    Essential Functions

    + Leads functions related to referral alignment, growth, retention, business development, account management, network development and provider relationship management (PRM) for the assigned service line.

    + Manages local, regional, and system outreach campaigns for the assigned service line, including applicable training and support for the team of provider relations liaisons across the Intermountain system.

    + Develops and integrates strategies to provide superior services to existing clients and develop programs to identify new clients. Creates and implements tools and programs to help team members become more effective in promoting Intermountain services specific to the assigned service line.

    + Participates on assigned committees to provide market feedback and help shape policies and procedures. Provides ongoing feedback using market conditions, industry trends, and insight to assist strategic product development.

    + Develops and implements business intelligence and market analysis reports on the status of the marketplace, consult with service line, hospital, and medical group leaders to gain their perspective on

     

    products, market positioning, pricing, and promotion, and analyze results for trends, issues, and areas of opportunity.

     

    + Working with service line leaders, develops and executes a comprehensive strategic growth plan that includes long and short-term goals.

    + Partners and works closely with C-Suite executives (e.g., service line leaders, hospital administrators, clinical program leadership teams, etc.) to develop and execute applicable growth initiatives.

    + Develops programs to identify opportunities to align with referring provider practices and other referral avenues, develop new referral streams, and creates and implements programs to aid in the effectiveness of enterprise business development activities.

    + Collaborates with the marketing department to develop promotional materials. Assesses the effectiveness of the materials, identifies performance indicators that will help market assigned services, utilizes optimal materials for each marketing opportunity, and assists in updating/creating materials that will better market our services to various audiences.

    + Works with service line leaders and employed providers to organize peer-to-peer meetings between medical specialists and referring providers to improve alignment and coordination of care.

    Minimum Qualifications

    + Demonstrated robust healthcare sales experience.

    + Demonstrated excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

    + Demonstrated excellent sales, management, financial, and analytical skills.

    + Ability to work independently.

    + Experience using word processing, spreadsheet, database, internet and e-mail, and scheduling applications.

    + Experience in a role requiring effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

    + Ability to travel 20% of the time.

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Bachelors degree. Education must be obtained from an accredited institution. Degree will be verified.

    + Five years of healthcare sales experience.

    + Experience in leading group discussions and working broadly throughout a healthcare organization with administration, hospital and medical staff.

    + Experience in an integrated healthcare delivery system.

    + Experience in strategic planning.

    Physical Requirements

    + Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, documents, monitors, identify equipment and supplies, and be able to assess customer needs.

    + Frequent interactions with providers, colleagues, customers, patients/clients, and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, needs, and issues quickly and accurately.

    + Frequent interactions with customers that require employee to communicate as well as understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately.

    + Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes frequent computer use for typing, accessing needed information, etc.

    + Expected to lift and utilize full range of movement to transport, pull, and push equipment. Will also work on hands and knees and bend to set-up, troubleshoot, lift, and carry supplies and equipment. Typically includes items of varying weights, up to and including heavy items.

    + Expected to drive a vehicle which requires sitting, seeing and reading signs, traffic signals, and other vehicles.

    The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

     

    $43.67 - $67.41
