Your opportunity

+ Grow the company's overall retirement and insurance asset footprint, including Retirement Plan, Annuity, COLI, and VUL assets

+ Serve as lead relationship manager across a targeted list of prospects and clients (e.g., Insurance Carriers, Recordkeepers, Mid-Market Consultants, Aggregators, and Fiduciary Service Providers)

+ Create and execute against client-level sales and servicing strategies to ensure the advancement of IRG’s stated strategies and annual sales and asset retention goals

+ Articulate the features and benefits of JHI products and services, including JHI practice management and value add content as well as broader capital markets and economic trends

+ Actively participate in the durable and profitable business growth across the IRG client base

+ Work in partnership with assigned Account Managers and coach, mentor and develop other members of the IRG team

+ Contribute to the development of IRG’s annual sales goals, budget and other objectives as part of the annual planning process.

Must have skills

+ Proven Insurance and Retirement industry knowledge within the Distribution business of asset management

+ 10+ years of sales, client relationship and distribution experience in a financial service setting

+ Ability to develop and maintain differentiated internal and external relationships up, down and across a given organizational chart.

+ Exceptionally strong writing and oral communication skills.

+ Drive to innovate and willingness to take concepts from idea incubation to in-market execution.

+ Ability to make decisions and judgements in the face of complexity, conflicting pressures and ambiguous circumstances

+ Commitment to maintain the highest ethical standards

Nice to have skills

+ Graduate, post-graduate or professional qualification

+ Series 7 and 63 licenses required within 90 days of hire

+ Series 3 preferred

+ CIMA, CFA or like expertise preferred

Compensation information

The base salary range for this position is $130,000 to $135,000. T his range is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different. This role will be posted through June 30, 2025.

Annual Bonus Opportunity: Position is eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus award from the profit pool. The profit pool is funded based on Company profits. Individual bonuses are determined based on Company, department, team and individual performance.
