Purpose:
The Community Programs Trainer is primarily responsible for the initial and ongoing training of departmental staff. This will include, but is not limited to the following: CPR/FA instructor, SCM instructor, & Ukeru. The Community Programs Trainer will work collaboratively with the Director of Organizational Development & Training regarding any outstanding training requirements for associates in the department and as a liaison between departments. The Community Programs Trainer will report directly to the Executive Director of Community Programs to review and refine various aspects of training within the department.
Job Duties / Essential Functions
+ Provide initial and ongoing training of departmental associates.
+ Periodically attend Organizational Development & Training meetings.
+ Work collaboratively with the Director of Organizational Development & Training and the Executive Director of Community Programs to ensure the training provided within the department is of the highest quality possible.
+ Ensure all documentation is completed legibly, professionally, accurately, and is submitted in a timely manner according to established protocols within regulatory guidelines.
+ Maintain awareness of the KidsPeace continuum of services and actively promote the internal transfer and referral of children and families whenever clinically indicated by attending bi-annual training on the continuum and communicating with associates between levels of care and actively seeking opportunities to share information about the continuum with consumers and referral agencies.
+ All other duties as assigned by management
