    IT Portfolio and Cyber Security Manager

    **Allied Mineral Products Holding, Inc.** is a leading manufacturer of monolithic refractories worldwide, headquartered in Columbus, Ohio. We are currently seeking an **IT Portfolio and Cyber Security Manager** who is responsible for overseeing a team of three professionals, ensuring that Allied Mineral Products’ IT Portfolio of projects and information security programs are managed in a manner that maximizes their value and contribution to the organizational strategy. This role involves coordinating portfolio components, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities:

    Team Management:

    + Supervise and mentor a team of three IT professionals, including IT Portfolio Coordinator, Service Desk Technicians (SAP), and Information Security Specialist.

    + Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and support professional development.

    + Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.

    Manage IT Portfolio Team Management goals:

    + Coordinate alignment of portfolio components (initiatives, programs, projects) to business and IT strategy.

    + Support efforts to balance the use of resources across projects and non-project work.

    + Ensure IT Department metrics and reporting are continuously aligned with business requirements.

    + Optimize the value and benefit generated by the portfolio.

    + Manage the portfolio of up to 150 projects ranging from $10K to over $1 million in size and scope.

    + Define and drive strategic alignment with relevant project owners and business partners.

    + Deliver business cases and/or risk assessments to support project prioritization.

    + Produce and leverage operational and project metrics to drive IT Department actions.

    + Ensure programs are aligned with governance structures, timelines, and financial budgets.

    + Drive flawless execution of portfolio delivery metrics, including financials, schedule, resources, risk, changes, and benefits realization.

    Manage Information Security Goals:

    + Establish and implement an enterprise-wide information security program.

    + Oversee relationship with SOC

    + Manage tools and processes to conduct vulnerability assessments

    + Manage IS metrics

    + Develop and maintain documentation for security systems and procedures.

    + Research, recommend, evaluate, and implement information security solutions.

    + Assist ServiceDesk with the investigation and remediation of companywide incidents.

    + Manage Incident RCAs

    + Analyze company change control for areas that can introduce vulnerabilities and compromise security.

    Qualifications:

    + Requires a Bachelors’ degree in Information Technology, Business, Project Management, or similar field, or equivalent work experience.

    + PMP Certification is a plus.

    + Must have at least 5 or more years of experience in IT Program Management aligning portfolio components to business strategy.

    + Must have at least 5 or more years of experience defining and applying Projects Portfolio Management methods and processes across multiple business units and stakeholders.

    + Experience owning and presenting strategic Portfolio planning and delivery processes (Master Business Schedule, Operations Management Portfolio) to executive leadership, stakeholders, and business leaders.

    + Must have excellent organizational and prioritization capabilities.

    + Must be proficient with MS Office applications. Daptiv PPM Software experience is a plus.

    + Must be able to travel (approximately 10%) or as business needs require.

    Working Environment

    + Office work environment.

    + Required to follow Allied Mineral Products’ Safety & Health policy and wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as appropriate.
