The Sr Analyst, Global Sales is part of the Global Sales team within the Commercial Division. This role supports the Global Sales team by delivering data-driven insights and tactical support to help drive market share growth among corporate accounts. This role plays a key part in executing go-to-market strategies, improving corporate customer engagement, and enhancing the adoption of online booking tools to optimize efficiency and cost savings.

• Develop and implement go-to-market strategies tailored for corporate accounts designed for market share growth
• Lead initiatives to enhance corporate traveler online booking tool compliance, creating efficient and cost-effective travel booking solutions for the corporate account team
• Lead and audit the creation of vertical-specific playbooks to guide account management and traveler engagement
• Partner with internal commercial departments, including Revenue Management, Network Planning, Sales Operations & Enablement, and Distribution, to align strategies and optimize account performance
• Collaborate with third-party corporate travel consultants to enhance American's value proposition within corporate travel programs and relationships
• Lead coordination across the Corporate Sales organization on strategic initiatives and engagements with Corporate Travel Managers, including in-market activations, surveys, customer forums, and roundtables, as well as trade organizations
• Act as a subject matter expert and consultant to the corporate sales account teams on airline products and services
All you'll need for success
Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
• 5 years of experience in sales, account management, or customer success, preferably in the airline or travel industry
• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful sales strategies and initiatives
• Strong analytical, strategic, and planning skills
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
• Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
• 7+ years of experience in sales, account management, or customer success, preferably in the airline or travel industry
• Experience working with corporate travel programs and relationships
• Knowledge of airline products and services
• Experience with sales strategy, analytical, strategic, and planning mindset
Skills, Licenses & Certifications
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Experience with CRM software and sales analytics tools
• Industry certifications, such as Certified Sales Professional (CSP) or Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR), a plus
