Job Description:
This Director of Academic Support Programs provides overall leadership, management, reporting, and implementation of policies and procedures for Hennepin Technical College's Tutoring Centers, Access Services, Interpreting Services, College Reading and Learning Association (CRLA) training to ensure efficient and effective operations, program goals, and work plans, and federal compliance are met, and serves as the college’s Title IX Coordinator. This position determines the design of academic support programs and how to integrate them with the college. This position is responsible for leading a team of academic support programs staff to provide services to students that ultimately result in retention and completion for students.
Salary Range:
$78,509-$109,119
Minimum Qualifications:
+ Master’s degree
+ Five (5) years of experience supervisory or leadership experience
+ Five (5) years of relevant access services and/or tutoring services experience
+ Experience in following federal and state legislation and regulations
+ Evidence of strong and demonstrated commitment to equity and inclusion
+ Experience working with diverse populations, perspectives, and abilities
Preferred Qualification:
+ Experience as a Title IX Coordinator
+ Training and experience on issues of mental health, poverty, inequity, disability, and the impact on education

Monday- Friday
