Job Description
The Head of CD & Structured Note Desk is responsible for strategic planning, revenue development, and internal protocols for self-issued and third party brokered certificate of deposits and structure notes. Responsibilities include overseeing structuring, product initiatives, bank client relationships, product distribution, risk management, and implementation of new processes and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
+ **Client Relationship Management: Proven experience** building and maintaining relationships with issuing bank and investing clients, optimizing liability needs, maximizing investment objectives, and developing tailored product solutions.
+ **Product Development and Support: Demonstrated structuring capabilities to ensure desired outcomes for issuing and investing clients.**
+ **Business Development:** Expand issuing and investing clients through thoughtful market coverage, relationship development, and strategic product offerings.
+ **Trade Management:** Managing all aspects of brokered CD and structured note trades, from issuance to lifecycle events (including verification, reconciliation, settlement, and risk management).
+ **Compliance and Risk Management:** Ensuring compliance with regulatory, internal policy, and risk management protocol vis active engagement with market risk management, credit risk management, compliance, and legal.
+ **Talent Management**
Requirements:
+ Strong financial knowledge: Understanding of CDs, structured notes, investments, and the financial markets.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: The ability to effectively communicate with clients, build trust, and address their financial needs.
+ Analytical and problem-solving abilities: Analyzing client situations and market data to provide informed recommendations.
+ Attention to detail: Handling financial transactions with accuracy and precision.
+ Technological proficiency: Familiarity with financial software and online trading platforms.
Qualifications:
+ 20+ years’ experience
+ Proven track record of revenue growth.
+ Strong relationships with clients.
+ Strong communication, interpersonal, and persuasion skills.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $186,150.00 - $219,000.00 - $240,900.00
