We are looking to hire a Disaster Prep Planner.

As a Disaster Prep Planner at MercyOne, you will:

+ Provide advanced planning assistance to local public health in the development of disaster/emergency

plans and operational policies and procedures.

+ Review and offers consultation to local public health agency staff in the development, review, implementation and exercising of plans and operation procedures.

+ Serve in a leadership capacity with content experts to develop templates for local public health and regions.

+ Provide direct assistance to local public health agencies in the development of program funding applications including budget and work plan activities.

+ Assist with exercise plan development and participates in tabletop, functional and full-scale exercises for the department, region, and county.

Schedule:

+ 36 hours weekly on a rotating shift

General Requirements:

+ More than 2 years experience required

+ Driver's License; Valid Auto insurance

Education:

+ Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Public Health; Nursing; Health Care Administration; Public Relations
