Job Description
CD & Structured Note Desk sales position involves selling brokered CDs and structured notes with investors, explaining the benefits of these investments, and understanding the market.
Key Responsibilities:
+ **Sales and Relationship Management: Proven issuer and investor client** relationships in brokered CDs / structured notes universe.
+ **Product Knowledge:** Thorough understanding of brokered CD and structured note features, benefits, and risks, including how they differ from traditional CDs.
+ **Market Analysis:** Understanding market trends, interest rate fluctuations, and other factors that can impact pricing and performance.
+ **Compliance:** Adhering to all relevant regulations and industry standards for selling investment products.
+ **Communication and Marketing:** Effectively communicating the value of brokered CDs and structured notes to potential clients and closing sales.
+ **Financial Literacy:** Strong understanding of financial concepts, risk management, and investment strategies.
+ **Sales Skills:** Ability to prospect, qualify leads, present investment options, and follow up with clients.
Requirements:
+ Develop and implement a sales strategy.
+ Identify and qualify potential clients interested in brokered CDs and structured notes.
+ Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to foster trust and repeat business.
+ Monitor market trends and interest rate fluctuations to identify opportunities and manage risks.
+ Follow up with clients to ensure they are satisfied with their investments and to address any questions or concerns.
+ Adhere to all compliance regulations and industry standards for selling investment products.
+ Collaborate with other financial professionals to generate leads and referrals.
Qualifications:
+ 15+ years’ experience.
+ Proven experience in sales and/or financial services.
+ Thorough understanding of brokered CDs, structured notes, and other investment products.
+ Strong communication, interpersonal, and persuasion skills.
+ Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
+ Strong work ethic and a commitment to achieving sales goals.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $143,905.00 - $169,300.00 - $186,230.00
