    Position Details:

    **Location:** Clearwater, FL (Hybrid)

    **Status:** Full Time and Salaried

    **Shift Hours:** 8-4

     

    The Auditor Sr. is responsible for:

     

    + Perform risk assessments and audit planning. Audit functions include evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, assessing the reliability of financial and operational information, and recommending changes to improve processes, strengthen controls, and ensure compliance.

    + Communicate with audit customers by preparing documentation and report findings to support audit results. Prepare, review, and maintain completed supporting documentation.

    + Organize and maintain a system of follow-up on projects. Lead audit projects and supervise staff auditors on assigned projects.

    + Must have detailed knowledge of medical terminology, healthcare regulations, financial analysis, and extensive experience with reviewing controls, flow of activities, and system implementations.

    + Some travel within the local geographic area is required. Perform other duties as assigned.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Experience:

    + Required - 2 years - Auditing; Or - 2 years - Accounting; Or - 5 years - Healthcare Management in related field; Or - 5 years - Finance.

    Education:

    + Required - Technical - Related Field; Required - Bachelors - Finance Related; Or - Bachelors - Health Services; Or - Masters - Healthcare Administration; Or - Bachelors - Finance; Or - Bachelors - Business; Preferred - Masters - Business Administration

    Credentials:

    + Required - CPA (Accounting); Or - CIA (Internal Auditor); Preferred - CFE (Fraud); Preferred - CISA (IS Auditor)
