Applied Research Solutions is seeking a full-time Network Services supporting the Air Force Cyber Defense program located at Lackland AFB-San Antonio, TX.

Responsibilities include:

+ Analyze and recommending network requirements.

+ Recommending and maintaining network architecture and infrastructure.

+ Analyzing network workload.

+ Monitoring network capacity and performance.

+ Diagnosing and resolving network problems.

+ Recommending network backup and recovery procedures.

+ Installing, testing, maintaining, and upgrading network operating systems software; and/or ensuring the rigorous application of information security/cybersecurity policies, principles, and practices in the delivery of network services.

+ Support work that involves the planning, analysis, design, development, testing, quality assurance, configuration, installation, implementation, integration of networks used to transmit information in voice, data, and/or video formats.

+ Set up, troubleshoot, and maintain routers, IP, LANs and VLANs.

+ Other duties as assigned;

Qualifications/Technical Requirements:

+ Must be a U.S. Citizen

+ Active Secret Clearance Required

+ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field

+ Tactical level experience with cloud architecture and data ingest.

+ Experience setting up routers, IP, LANs and VLANs

+ Cisco routers and switches experience

+ Experience working with Dell storage

+ VMware experience
