Preferred Qualifications
Role Purpose
Works both independently and as a team member to implement and support the design, delivery, communication and administration of base compensation, premium pay, and non-executive variable compensation programs meeting current and future business needs. Individual contributor able to apply established standards and knowledge support system-wide compensation programs for staff, and professional level employees. Develops documentation for compensation processes and procedures. Assists with data collection, evaluation/analysis, cost projection, design, implementation, and administration of compensation programs.
Responsibilities
+ Provides consultation to management and human resource teams, Payroll, and HRIS to assist with day-to-day compensation requirements, to include job analysis and evaluation, market pricing, development of job descriptions, FLSA reviews, etc..
+ Provides support for ongoing compensation initiatives such as salary survey, annual market review to include internal equity adjustments, and salary planning through data collection/reporting, analysis, data management, transaction assistance, market research, and data integrity audits. Provides compensation guidance for system. Serves as project lead on small scale initiatives.
+ Makes compensation-related recommendations and decisions. Interprets and enforces compensation and HR policies/practices. Delivers accurate, complete and timely submission of required reports, documentation, forecasts and analyses.
+ Actively seeks market intelligence and industry-specific data to: obtain in-depth understanding of the market and industry-specific compensation trends; and builds internal relationships and external networks.
+ Assists with managing mailbox requests including job offers. Identifies issues and trends to assist in recommending market adjustments and hiring rates, and individual rates of pay. Demonstrates current working knowledge of applicable regulations and laws.
