Summary:
The Senior Digital Workspace Engineer-Collaboration will develop strategic roadmaps and frameworks for SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive, enhancing end-user computing solutions at Catholic Health. This role requires a deep understanding of how technology supports job functions and the ability to design and deliver secure, user-friendly solutions. Responsibilities include standardizing collaboration and content sharing across all endpoints, providing level 3 support, and mentoring other engineers and support staff. Additionally, the Senior Engineer must maintain expertise in various IT disciplines (e.g., networking, telephony, servers) and be ready to assist in lead or secondary support roles as needed.
Responsibilities:
EDUCATION
+ Bachelor of Science or Arts in Computing or related field strongly preferred
+ An Associate's Degree in Computer Science or related field and one or more of the following certifications will be acceptable:
+ Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer Productivity Solutions Expert
+ Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert
+ Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist in SharePoint (MCTS)
+ Microsoft Certified Professional Developer in SharePoint (MCPD)
EXPERIENCE
+ Bachelors: minimum six (6) - ten (10) years of related experience required, or
+ Associates: minimum ten (10) years progressive IT experience
+ In lieu of Bachelors or Associates: Fifteen (15) years of IT related experience, ten (10) of these years must be End-user Computing related
+ Minimum three plus (3+) years in a leadership capacity
+ Some experience in a healthcare setting is preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY
+ Superior written and verbal communication skills
+ A strong technical aptitude and excellent analytical and organizational skills
+ Demonstrated experience in an M365 product ownership role including implementing, maintaining and evangelizing the capabilities of the Microsoft M365 portfolio of products.
+ Demonstrated focus on customer service skills and ability to communicate clearly and effectively to a wide variety of audiences.
+ Ability to Identify, research, recommend, architect, and implement Microsoft 365 solutions and applications such as MS Teams, MS SharePoint, OneDrive, Forms, Bookings, etc.
+ Proficiency in PowerShell or similar scripting languages
+ Experience in a healthcare setting is also recommended and preferred
