Our client, a leader in automation and controls, is seeking a PLC Controls Engineer II to join their team. As a PLC Controls Engineer II, you will be part of the engineering department supporting various automation projects. The ideal candidate will have strong project planning capabilities, effective communication skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** PLC Controls Engineer II

**Location:** Mason, OH

**Pay Range:** $41.00-$45.00 per hour

What's the Job?

+ Lead the technical implementation of electrical controls systems, including PLC programming and commissioning.

+ Manage project scope, quality, and deliverables ensuring alignment with customer expectations.

+ Collaborate and work with other Project Engineers as needed.

+ Develop and maintain technical documentation, including QA/QC validations and test plans.

+ Execute and support system testing (BUAT/UAT/FAT) and on-site commissioning.

What's Needed?

+ Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.

+ Minimum of 4 years of experience in a Controls Engineering role with warehouse automation or material handling equipment.

+ Technical expertise in PLC programming and electrical design, specifically with Allen-Bradley and Beckhoff.

+ Experience with Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) programming and Human-Machine Interface (HMI) system design.

+ Strong understanding of industrial network protocols and warehouse control system interfaces.
