    The Healthfirst Community Engagement Department (CE) supports enterprise health equity initiatives, membership growth and retention efforts, corporate and social responsibility, and internal event production. We build trust in Healthfirst in the communities we serve and collaborate strategically with organizations to effect measurable positive change.

     

    The Community Engagement Project Specialist (CEPS) supports the launch and proactive life cycle management of CEs portfolio. The CEPS accomplishes this through scheduled and ad hoc data compilation and analysis (Healthfirst, NY, and competitive), quality assurance/quality control of CE engagement assets, CE engagement input and tracking, storytelling support, attendance at engagements to capture KPI data, leading small initiatives, and continuously supplying observations and recommendations regarding the aforementioned. Internal and external stakeholders meaningful support of and participation in CE initiatives, willingness to share experience, and their requests for CE support for their initiatives are among the indicators of success. The CEPS assists in identifying event management solutions and suitable venues programming and engagements.

    Job Responsibilities:

    + Manage assigned Community Engagement initiatives (i.e., pre-evaluation and post tracking of assigned initiative(s)

    + Prepare strategic documents and present to strategy team for evaluation and approval

    + Project coordinate the event-intake process

    + Meet with project team regularly to successfully manage assigned initiatives

    + Leverage Tableau data, team insights, and the score card-type tools to drive effective evaluations

    + Ensure initiatives KPI support the companys enrollment growth goals and priorities

    + Engage support CBO, FBOs and provider partners where applicable through MOUs when necessary

    + Meet with project team to perform a post evaluation of initiatives

    + Introduce new initiatives for evaluation to add to program or replace low return engagements

    + Support the production of a quarterly newsletter, to include articles and recaps of the units positive impact on the community and upcoming engagements.

    + Support Events & Activations

    + Provide timely and accurate project management support for initiatives and projects as directed

    + Support event coordination such as setup, coordinating pre-event and event day fleet support, registration support and tracking attendance

    + Monitor asset and premium needs for Healthfirst produced events through data and info received from marketing and Fleet/Cargo, ensuring quality and quantities can support successful activations

    + Provide insights support through conducting surveys and poll questions, including marketing support when needed, reporting results in an engaging professional format along with recommendations

    + Provide technical support for virtual events to include creating links, uploading pics and bios, creating registration questions, and leading technical aspects of prep sessions.

    + Edit presentations

    + Ensure that all information is entered into Salesforce, accurately and in a timely manner for E&A

    + Assist with pulling and interpreting Salesforce reports

    + Provide ad hoc research support using platforms such as MangoMaps and Tableau and trusted government reports to assist in strategic and tactical phases of initiatives

    + Contribute to establishing new partners by identifying high potential new partners at events

    + Must take ownership of tasks, oversee, and provide regular updates for projects from planning through solution phase

    + Additional duties as assigned

    Minimum Qualifications:

    + High School Diploma or GED Equivalent

    + Experience in building community partnerships

    + Experience in event planning

    + An energetic and consultative work style

    + Interpersonal and critical thinking skills

    + A start-up, entrepreneurial mindset

    + Minimum Associates degree or equivalent college credits

    + Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office software: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook must

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + BA in marketing, communications, or a related field

    + Experience in negotiating

    + Experience in community engagement creating and managing programs with measurable outcomes or event planning role

    Travel:

    This position requires some local travel.

    Working Weekends and Holidays:

    This position may require working weekends occasionally.
