Our client, a leader in the technical communications industry, is seeking a Sr Technical Writer to join their team. As a Sr Technical Writer, you will be part of the Technical Publications team supporting the Fire and Life Safety line of business. The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team, aligning successfully with the organization.
**Job Title:** Sr Technical Writer
**Location:** Atlanta, GA
**Pay Range:** $43-45/hr
What's the Job?
+ Develop comprehensive documentation that meets organizational standards.
+ Identify and utilize technical documentation tools to support our physical and digital products.
+ Collaborate with a diverse global team to create and deliver high-quality technical content in a timely manner.
+ Work closely with engineering, regulatory, and marketing teams to develop and review technical content.
+ Maintain existing technical documentation artifacts and apply modern writing techniques for customer clarity.
What's Needed?
+ Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
+ 5 - 7 years of experience in a technical documentation role with superior written and verbal communication skills.
+ 2+ years of experience negotiating and working with a global writing team.
+ High fluency level of English written and oral.
+ Experience with MadCap Flare, Adobe FrameMaker, or other XML tools is preferred.
