• Health Claims Coordinator

    Our client, is seeking a Health Claims Coordinator to join their team. As a Health Claims Coordinator, you will be part of the medical claims processing department supporting the efficient management of healthcare claims. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a detail-oriented mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Health Claims Coordinator

    **Location:** Linthicum, MD

    **Pay Range:** $23.00 per hour

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Review and evaluate claims for all medical benefits.

    + Utilize proper Benefit Codes, CPT Codes, and ICD Codes.

    + Assess eligibility and work history for dates of service.

    + Maintain a processing rate of 100 claims per day.

    + Conduct interviews with members for claim inquiries to gather additional information.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + High School Diploma or Equivalent.

    + Minimum one year of Claims Processing experience.

    + Typing speed of 60 words per minute.

    + Knowledge of medical and diagnosis-related group codes (DRG's).

    + Ability to handle additional duties as assigned.
