Our client in Alma MI, is seeking a Warehouse/Forklift Associate to join their team. As a Warehouse/Forklift Associate, you will be part of the operations team supporting efficient warehouse processes. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent teamwork skills, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Warehouse/Forklift Associate
**Location:** Alma, MI
**Shift -** 1st shift
What's Needed?
+ High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
+ Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain).
+ 1+ years of experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
+ Basic math and computer skills.
+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
+ Commitment to following safety protocols.
+ Willingness to assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
What's the Job?
+ Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
+ Load and unload trucks, verifying the accuracy of shipments.
+ Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
+ Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts.
+ Inspect equipment and perform basic maintenance or report issues.
