Our client, a leader in employee benefits administration, is seeking a Technical Writer to join their team. As a Technical Writer, you will be part of the Department of Employee Trust Funds supporting a diverse range of benefit programs. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Technical Writer
**Location:** Madison, WI
**Pay Range:** $35 - $38/hr
What's the Job?
+ Develop detailed worker procedures documentation for changed business processes resulting from technology modernization.
+ Update instructional manuals and informational brochures in plain language.
+ Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information and review system screens and process flows.
+ Create user-friendly content that meets the needs of diverse audiences.
+ Evaluate current content and identify opportunities for process and procedure improvements.
What's Needed?
+ Bachelor’s degree or comparable professional experience in insurance or employee benefits administration.
+ 5 or more years of experience as an effective technical writer.
+ Superior written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
+ Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
+ Ability to quickly learn complex topics and present them in an easily understandable format.
