Summary This position is located in the Executive Office of the President, Office of Administration, Office of the Chief Operations Officer - Mail and Logistics Management Division. This position performs work in support of the Remote Delivery Site (RDS), primarily in asset management and in receiving and distribution of supplies. The incumbent will serve as a Supply Technician responsible for receiving, stocking, and inspecting supplies. Responsibilities As a General Supply Specialist (MVO), GS-2001-9, your typical work assignments may include the following under supervision: Serves as a central source of information and expertise for supply accountability, reporting, inventory procedures, and the proper method of ordering supplies. Provides source and availability information involving stocked and non-stocked items carried by the supply store to customers and management as required. Manages the Remote Delivery Site supply catalog and online ordering system. Pulls and packages orders received from customers and management. Prepares store for annual inventory to include scheduling and monitoring the progress of the inventory. Purchases specialized supplies on government credit card when required. Provides pick-up, delivery, and return services for priority and routine shipments throughout the National Capital Region. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: All applicants must meet the qualification requirements outlined below to be considered minimally qualified for this position. The qualification requirements are in accordance with the OPM Qualification Standards. ALL QUALIFICATIONS MUST BE MET BY THE CLOSING DATE OF THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: You may qualify at the GS-09 level, if you fulfill the following qualification requirement: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private sector: (1) Manages supply catalog and online ordering systems utilizing various software systems and automated databases. (2) Applies supply principles, concepts, and methodologies to define and maintain accountability of stock record activities. (3) Conducts annual supply inventory, reconciles inventory, and takes appropriate corrective action as needed. (4) Provides pick-up, delivery, and return services for priority and routine shipments of supplies to various organizations. Education There is no education substitution for this position.
