• Back-end Database Developer - Spring Boot, Java

    Job Description

    Insight Global is looking for a Back-end Database Developer for an automotive client in the Dearborn, MI area. They will be joining a team responsible for the deployment of over-the-air updates to vehicles. The status of these updates comes to this team and the developer will be working on maintaining and enhancing the database that tracks these deployments. Another project this year will be the migration from one platform for OTA deployments to another and they will be trained on how to help with that project as well. In order to be successful in this role they will need to be proficient in Spring Boot framework and Java. This position is hybrid 1-2 days a week onsite.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    -5+ years of backend software development experience

     

    -Experience with Spring Boot framework

     

    -Proficiency with Java

     

    -Ability to write and maintain database stored procedures and functions

     

    -Knowledge about various database technologies such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB

     

    -Experience in developing backend API -Knowledge of cloud platform such us AWS, Google, Azure

     

    -Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes

    -Extensive Experience in Angular UI development for large data capture and retrieval null
