    WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

     

    You’ll report to the NXT Apparel leader as part of the Product Management team for NXT Apparel. You will collaborate daily with functions across NXT Apparel including NXT Materials, Design, Development, Operations, Engineering, NSRL, Wear testing, the wider AIC and our inline business partners.

    WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

    We’re looking for two Expert Product Managers.

     

    This individual will lead diverse cross functional teams to bring new innovation concepts and capabilities to life. Working closely with materials, design, development, NSRL, wear testing and inline business partners to explore, discover and deliver new innovation concepts and capabilities. This expert product manager will obsess the voice of the athlete to create a clear brief and vision of success for projects then lead the team through the work to deliver it, against an agreed season and classification.

     

    The successful candidate needs to be able to: Cultivate innovation, foster effective teamwork, embrace and lead change, think strategically, communicate with vision and purpose and drive clarity and accountability.

     

    + Bachelor’s degree in Product Management, Merchandising, Business or a related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training.

    + Minimum of 7 years’ experience in apparel product management or similar.

    + A depth of experience in successfully leading diverse cross functional teams.

    + Strong communication and leadership skills with a proven ability to collaborate, influence, inspire and motivate across diverse, creative and innovative teams.

    + A proven ability to build trust and foster effective teamwork, value differences, drive clarity and ensure accountability.

    + A demonstrated ability to successfully navigate a highly matrixed organization and work closely with teams across other parts of Nike.

    + The curiosity, desire and adaptability to lead with the voice of the athlete and navigate high levels of ambiguity.

    + A drive to reimagine and look ahead. A proven ability to think and act strategically and communicate clear vision of future possibilities. Embracing and recreating current strategies.

     

    WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

     

    You will lead multiple project teams through the innovation process to deliver apparel innovation that serves athletes and the business, fuels product classification excellence and solves a unique barrier to sport for athletes*. You will be responsible for identifying a technology solution path, leveraging capabilities across the AIC and running an iterative process to develop the innovation solution. You’ll work closely across the functions and business partners to create a clear brief and lead the team to prototype, test, learn and problem solve throughout the process.
