Delta is expanding its wellbeing data science, data
engineering and reporting capabilities while unlocking initiatives that drive
improvements in the health and wellbeing of our employees, their families, and
our customers.
The Delta Wellbeing Data Engineering & Visualization
Co-op will design, develop, and maintain Delta’s extended dashboards, AWS
data pipelines, and data platforms. This will encompass testing, developing,
quality checking, and automating the data transformation and visualizations
throughout the process from formation to deployment on AWS.
In addition, this role will provide ad-hoc support for
reporting and data inquiries related to wellbeing data.
The successful candidate will espouse Delta's core values of

partner with others to drive results. Data integrity is of utmost importance to
Delta Wellbeing, and this position will require an eye for detail and be
responsible for ensuring all data reported has been through thorough quality
checks. A successful candidate will also have a strength in data visualization
and UX design - finding ways to creatively showcase the data as effectively as
possible.
Primary Functions:
+ Maintain and continuously improve dashboards and apps basedon input from key stakeholders
+ Investigate new technologies with our vendor partner(s) forfuture implementation
+ Identify ways to improve the UX design of new and existingreports
+ Locate and extract data from a variety of sources for use inanalysis, models, and reporting
+ Monitoring ongoing data collection for accuracy andintegrity
+ Identify and continually seek to improve data and toolsavailable to Delta as a part of the Delta Wellbeing Measurement platform
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
+ Working as a Co-op does not guarantee a full-time opportunity upon graduation. This position is intended to provide you with educational, and professional work experience to prepare you for the workforce.
+ This position requires you to work for 3 alternating semesters. You cannot actively take any courses (inclusive of online or in-person) and work as a Co-op at the same time, which may delay your graduation by 1-2 semesters.
+ Working on a Bachelor's degree ideally in Computer Science,Information Science, Business/Management, Mathematics/Statistics, or anotherrelevant quantitative field
+ Students must be able to complete 3 alternating rotations in Atlanta, GA in line with the below schedule:
+ Fall 2025 - 1st rotation
+ Summer 2026 - 2nd rotation
+ Spring 2027 - 3rd rotation
+ Experience with coding software (i.e., SQL, Python, SAS, C,VBA, R, etc.)
+ Experience with visualization platform (tableau, powerbi,etc)
+ 1+ years of experience in analysis, information science,data visualization, or another relevant quantitative field
+ Functional understanding of basic and object-orientedprogramming concepts (loops, conditionals, variables, functions,multi-dimensional arrays)
+ Must be comfortable working in group and individual settings
+ Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self,others, and personal data.
+ Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
+ Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high schoolequivalency.
+ Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work inthe United States.
What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)
+ Understanding of cloud computing technologies like AWS
+ 1+ years of Python, or other programming scripting languages
+ 1+ years of SQL experience and an understanding of efficientquery practices
+ 1+ years of visualization experience (tableau, powerbi, etc)
