    Job Description

    Role: Implementation Specialist specifically for a Hospitality Clients PMS system.

     

    This position will be responsible for monitoring, managing, and supporting Americas-based hotels through their individual journeys to migrate from their existing Property Management System (PMS) to a new cloud-based solution. The Implementation Specialist will lead and guide the hotels and partners through a program, including proactive and reactive touch points. Hotels must complete detailed workbooks, training modules, signoffs, confirmations, etc. along the way. The Implementation Specialist will be responsible for monitoring their portfolios via regular reporting fed by Salesforce, ensuring progress up to the point of cutover.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Project Management: Use regular reports from Salesforce to monitor a portfolio of hotels and their individual progress in the overall process. Implement proactive and reactive communication strategies where delays are apparent.

     

    Subject Matter Expert (SME): Learn all aspects of the New PMS initiative to support hotels in their journey.

    Tactical Interactions:

    o Lead kickoff calls with groups of hoteliers.

     

    o Provide answers and guidance to hotels throughout the program.

     

    o Assist and ensure hotels complete Property Information Workbooks, capturing detailed PMS information.

     

    o Monitor and enforce training completion.

     

    o Make go/no-go decisions with the support of the line manager for hotels at risk.

     

    o Ensure day-of-cutover readiness with hotels and external partners.

     

    o Support hotels post-go-live, providing white-glove support and addressing issues.

    Compensation:

    $45/hr to $55/hr.

     

    Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

    Skills and Requirements

    PMS Experience: Critical, especially with OPERA PMS. Experience with other PMS systems and Hotel Key is highly desirable.

     

    Hospitality Experience: Strongly suggested, including roles such as General Manager, Director of Sales, Revenue Manager, or similar within the hospitality vertical. Experience in similar hospitality technology rollouts for other brands is also valuable.

     

    Sales/Training: Ability to speak confidently and effectively to get hoteliers back on track and proceeding towards the goal.

     

    Reporting/Tools/CRM: Experience with Microsoft Excel or similar applications to analyze and manage portfolio-level data regularly, helping streamline day-to-day activities.

     

    Salesforce: Tracking projects, managing and monitoring progress, and prioritizing tasks.

     

    Remote Work: Acceptable, but Atlanta-based candidates are preferred. null
