Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Civil Enviromental Engineer to join our team. This person will be responsible for assisting with design and analysis for equipment foundations, site paving/grading, site utilities, water and wastewater treatment systems, air quality systems, and steam-water piping systems for projects like oil & gas infrastructure, power plants, industrial facilities, and institutions. They will also prepare stormwater calculations, site layouts, and designs for grading and pipelines. The candidate should have the ability to review drawings, specs, and construction documents, and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal codes. Check quality, select materials and equipment, and attend project meetings while also write reports, prepare bids, and review proposals. Candidates must support site development by handling permits and working with agencies and utility companies. Possess knowledge with design software like AutoCAD Civil 3D (or similar) to create grading designs and stormwater plan.

Skills and Requirements

Bachelors degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.

EIT (Engineer-in-Training) certification

Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar design software.

Knowledge of site grading, stormwater management, and civil design.

Familiarity with local, state, and federal permitting requirements.

Strong attention to detail and quality control.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to manage time and meet deadlines. Some experience in site development and working with agencies/utilities preferred.

Willingness to travel for site visits and meetings (about 5% travel).

Comfortable working occasional overtime when needed. null
