HCA Healthcare ITG Associate Automation Engineers are innovative individuals who use creativity and stakeholder partnerships to deliver business value. Automation Engineers execute on automation efforts of small projects or phases of a larger project of low to medium complexity levels. Associate Automation Engineers will sharpen and develop their skills by learning to communicate across multiple channels including ITG and Business Operations, design and document desired solutions, develop automatons according to best practices and guidelines, and test automations to approved plans. Associate Automation Engineers will work with more experienced Engineers to take their efforts from conception, through the deployment of their products, including turnover to the appropriate technical and user support organizations. Automation engineers will receive supervision and guidance from senior staff.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

+ Develop automated tools / scripts to specifications

+ Works with multiple areas at HCA Healthcare to ensure understanding of assigned task.

+ Thoroughly tests developed products. Adherence to all HCA Healthcare standards and policies.

+ Supports development of technical standards.

+ Prepares specifications of a highly technical or complex nature.

+ Analyzes user specifications and requirements.

+ Identifies opportunities for process improvements.

+ Works to participate and learn best practices and procedures.

+ Adheres to best practices for software design, retention, documentation, and deployment strategies.

+ Works directly with service operations, product, and vendor teams to resolve, prevent, and eliminate customer technology issues. Gathers and documents business, user, functional and non-functional requirements for in scope products.

+ Establishes and maintains solid business relationships.

+ Actively owns and participates in lifecycle management of assigned applications and infrastructure.

+ May provide afterhours/on-call support for applications.

+ Has the ability resolve simple to complex production support issues.

What qualifications you will need:

EXPERIENCE

Less than 1 year of experience in a Systems Engineering, Analyst or Developer - Preferred

Or equivalent combination of education and/or experience could be considered
