    Who You Are

As the Senior Manager, Internal Communications, you will lead the planning, creation, and execution of communications that keep employees informed, inspired, and aligned. Your work will help Justworkers understand what’s happening, why it matters, and how they contribute.

     

    In this highly cross-functional role reporting to the SVP of People, you’ll partner closely with executive leaders across the business to shape our internal voice. You’ll lead key communications moments like All Hands and Super All Hands, own our regular employee cadence, and manage the internal communications ecosystem that brings clarity and consistency to how we share information. You’ll ensure that all Justworkers - regardless of level, function, or geography - feel connected to our strategy, our brand, and one another.

     

    You are a sharp communicator, creative storyteller, and strategic thinker. You bring empathy, structure, and editorial rigor to everything you touch. You’re energized by making complexity clear, and you understand the role communication plays in aligning employees to business goals and customer impact. You’re also tech-savvy and AI-curious—always looking for smarter ways to scale messaging and amplify employee experience across the entire lifecycle.

    Your Success Profile What You Will Work On:

    Own the Internal Communications Ecosystem

     

    + Design, manage, and evolve the systems and channels that deliver clear, consistent, and timely messaging to all Justworkers.

    + Collaborate with StratOps to maintain our internal calendar that aligns communications to key business moments, employee milestones, and cultural priorities - You will own the editorial and communications elements.

     

    Lead Company-Wide Communications Moments

     

    + Own the strategy, planning, and execution of recurring communications like All Hands, Super All Hands, and company-wide updates.

    + Partner with senior leaders to shape these moments into storytelling opportunities that reinforce strategy, results, and shared purpose.

     

    Drive Executive Messaging and Narrative Development

     

    + Collaborate directly with the SVP of People and executive team to craft messaging that is authentic, strategic, and aligned with our internal tone and external brand.

    + Translate complex ideas and business updates into clear, motivating language that resonates with employees across levels and functions.

     

    Create Content That Connects

     

    + Write and produce high-impact communications - from CEO notes to Slack messages to internal campaigns - that are engaging, inclusive, and aligned with our values.

    + Adapt content and format to meet employees where they are—whether they’re in-person, remote, frontline, or hybrid.

     

    Support Organizational Clarity and Change

     

    + Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., Strategy, Legal, DEIB, People) to ensure employees receive the information they need - when and how they need it.

    + Lead communications around key initiatives, milestones, and transitions, ensuring clarity, transparency, and empathy.

     

    Leverage Technology, Tools, and Insights

     

    + Use AI, automation, and communications platforms to scale reach, tailor messages, and improve efficiency.

    + Track engagement, gather feedback, and continuously iterate to increase clarity, alignment, and connection.

    How You Will Do Your Work

    This role calls for a thoughtful communicator and comms leader who leads with clarity, creativity, and strategic focus. You’ll be expected to guide messaging across the business, elevate internal touchpoints, and help employees feel connected to our purpose - no matter their role, location, or level.     Qualifications

    + Minimum of 5 years of experience in internal communications, executive communications, content strategy, or related roles, ideally within high-growth or fast-paced environments.

    + Proven ability to build and execute internal communications strategies that align with business priorities, engage employees, and reflect company values.

    + Expertise in content creation and editing across multiple formats, with a sharp eye for tone, structure, and audience.

    + Comfort developing content on behalf of senior leaders and shaping narrative arcs that clarify complex topics and connect to strategy.

    + Curiosity and fluency with emerging tools, including AI and automation, to enhance scale, consistency, and personalization in internal messaging.

    + Experience managing communications cadences and touchpoints, including company-wide meetings, message calendars, and cross-functional updates.

    + Strong cross-functional partnership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels and drive alignment.

    + Deep understanding of the employee experience and how to create communications that resonate across roles, locations, and stages of the employee lifecycle.

    + Attention to detail, sound judgment, and a track record of delivering clear, high-quality communications that drive clarity and connection.

     

    The base wage range for this position based in our New York City Office is targeted at $155,500.00 - $178,825.00 per year.

    Actual compensation is based on multiple factors that are unique to each candidate, including and not limited to skill set, level of relevant experience, and specific work location. Salary ranges for positions based in other locations may differ based on the cost of labor in that location.
