    Job Details

    AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic team member to immediatley hire to fill the role of Part-timeCafeteria Supervisor. This position will work 5-days per week Monday - Friday day-shift, 8:30am - 2:30pm, no weekends or holidays with summers off.

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    + Oversee front and back-end production including preparation of food for daily lunch service

    + Follow opening and closing procedures for the POS system and handling cash drawers

    + Complete daily, weekly and monthly paperwork and supply orders

    + Manage team of part-time staff and parent volunteers

    + Comply with all policies and procedures, including but not limited to food and physical safety programs

    + Communicate any issues of concern to management (i.e. customer issues, cleanliness, safety concerns or security concerns)

    + Follow all safety requirements at accounts

    + Hold or obtain Serv-Safe food handler certification

    + Adhere to grooming and appearance standards

    + Perform any other duties as specified by management

    Job Requirements:

    + Previous culinary/foodservice experience required

    + Excellent customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal

    + Successful team leadership experience

    + Moving, bending, stooping, lifting and standing on a frequent basis

    + Ability to lift up to 15 pounds frequently; lift up to 30 pounds occasionally

    + Experience with Microsoft Office Suite is necessary
