Role and Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly skilled Finance leader to lead the Finance function within our Global Business Services (GBS) organization.** **The GBS Finance lead will initially be responsible for overseeing the standup of Finance in GBS locations and the implementation of globally standardized GBS Finance solutions. They will also have responsibility for the delivery of all transactional Finance activity, governance and compliance frameworks, change management initiatives, stakeholder engagement, and enhancing operational efficiency and service delivery across Finance. The role is essential in ensuring the effective delivery of finance services, enhancing financial performance, and driving operational excellence within the organization. The GBS Finance Lead will ultimately report to the Head of GBS and collaborate closely with the Finance functional leadership, business unit leaders and other stakeholders to align finance strategies with broader business objectives.
Accountabilities
+ Delivering GBS finance processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting in line with SLAs and KPIs
+ Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
+ Maintain a robust controls environment
+ Supervise and mentor finance team members, promoting professional development.
+ Drive a culture of continuous improvement across the teams and ensure successful delivery of transformation activity
+ Collaborate with business leaders to align finance strategies with business objectives.
+ Utilize financial metrics and analytics to monitor performance and drive data-informed decision-making.
+ Prepare and present regular reports on finance activities and outcomes to the Head of GBS/functional leadership.
+ Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement best practices for efficiency.
+ Support organizational change initiatives by providing finance insights and guidance.
+ Communicate effectively with employees regarding changes in finance policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Experience
+ Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
+ Minimum of 12 years of experience in finance, with a focus on transactional finance processes.
+ Comprehensive experience of working with a GBS organization and understanding of best practice GBS organizations.
+ Strong understanding of finance best practices, regulations, and compliance requirements.
+ Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team.
+ Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
+ Proficient in financial software and ERP systems.
+ Experience overseeing process and systems change.
+ Master’s degree in one of the fields above or CPA
+ Excellent communication skill with abilities related to the effective exchange of information and ideas
Technical Skills and Knowledge
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
+ Proficiency in using data analysis tools and software, such as Microsoft Excel
+ Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems that manage and automate core business processes
+ Awareness of relevant regulations and compliance requirements
+ Skilled in gathering, understanding, and implementing business requirements while improving employee experience and outcomes
+ Ability to analyze performance metrics and data to support decision-making and strategic planning
+ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex service delivery issues and make sound business decisions
+ High-volume transactional experience
Fluency in English in required; proficiency in at least one additional language (Thai, Filipino, Mandarin, or Spanish), both spoken and written, is preferred
