• **About this role:**
Wells Fargo is seeking a Corporate Insurance Consultant as part of the Commercial Mortgage Servicing (CMS) division within Commercial Banking Operations. This team supports and administers risk management and loss prevention programs, such as property and casualty insurance and product liability service, to attain maximum protection at the most economical rates. Does not include responsibility for insured employee benefit plans.
The Corporate Insurance Consultant will be responsible for completing tasks such as collecting payment on invoices, send refunds on overages and work directly with insurance vendors. You will also be responsible for helping manage the group mailbox, run escrow analysis and support the portfolio held loans by reviewing commercial loan documents. In this role, you will:
+ Perform set-up of new loan insurance records within our servicing system
+ Collect insurance certificates/policies, invoices, paid receipts, and W9 tax forms
+ Review insurance certificates/policies for compliance with the lender guidelines
+ Conducting quality assurance review of commercial loans to ensure processes and procedures are being followed
+ Correspond with offshore team, borrowers, and insurance agents, audit the compliance of insurance certificates/policies for new and existing loans
+ Collaborate virtually with Third Party Vendors and offshore team in resolving insurance exceptions, and use specific criteria to quality assure and report metric results and feedback on a weekly/monthly basis
+ Collaborate with management in the formulation of work procedures, policies and methods to ensure compliance with Wells Fargo, legal, investor, regulatory, and business policies, which directly affect the work unit and other departments
+ Assist management in analyzing management reports to optimize workflow coordination and production with domestic staff, vendors and offshore operations
+ Handle special projects that primarily impact his/her functional area or specific department
+ Escalate issues, evaluate and process borrowers’ servicing requests in conjunction with asset managers, internal and external counsel, and business partners, and ensure quality customer service is provided to internal/external customers
+ Review and comprehension of the Government Sponsored Enterprise (GSE) insurance guidelines
+ Understand compliance and risk management requirements for supported area
+ Participate in company initiatives or processes to assist in meeting its risk and capital objectives and other strategic goals
+ Provide guidance to less experienced specialists
Required Qualifications:
+ 2+ years of Corporate Insurable Risk Management, Risk Management Consulting, Property or Casualty Insurance, or Insurance Brokerage experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
+ 2+ years of years of commercial real estate, mortgage banking, or mortgage loan servicing experience
+ Familiarity with commercial real estate loan documents as well as pooling and servicing agreements
+ Ability to research, compile, and perform analysis on insurance data
+ Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic environment
+ Ability to provide strong customer service to develop customer relationships and resolution skills
+ Ability to independently provide summaries and makestrategic recommendations
+ Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
+ Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
+ Intermediate Microsoft Office Excel skills
