    Position Summary

    We are seeking an experienced Epicor Prophet 21 (P21) ERP Specialist to support and enhance our ERP environment. This role is critical to troubleshooting issues, supporting end users, advising on system capabilities, and driving data integrity and system optimization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial distribution and assemblies and ideally have experience working in a cloud-hosted P21 environment. This role can be onsite at a local branch or remote.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Serve as the internal subject matter expert (SME) for Epicor Prophet 21 ERP.

    + Troubleshoot and resolve ERP-related issues reported by business users.

    + Advise stakeholders on best practices for P21 functionality and process improvement.

    + Support ERP data cleanup, validation, and import activities.

    + Assist with customizations, report creation, and configuration changes in P21.

    + Work with cross-functional teams (Sales, Purchasing, Finance, Operations) to optimize ERP workflows.

    + Liaise with Epicor support and external consultants as needed.

    + Document processes, develop training materials, and provide user training and support.

    + Participate in upgrade testing, change management, and system improvement initiatives.

    Qualifications

    + Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Epicor Prophet 21.

    + Minimum 5 years in industrial distribution; experience in hose/fittings industry is a strong plus.

    + In-depth knowledge of P21 functionality including Order Entry, Inventory, Supply Chain, Operations, Purchasing and AR/AP

    + Strong understanding of data structures, imports, DynaChange, and report writing (e.g., Crystal Reports, SSRS).

    + Experience in a cloud-hosted P21 environment preferred.

    + Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.

    + Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

    + Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

    + Familiar with working with Agile / Sprints

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Experience with system integrations, custom scripting

    + Familiarity with BI tools like Power BI or Rubber Tree.

    + Prior involvement in ERP upgrades or implementation projects
