    About this role:

    Wells Fargo is seeking Principal Engineer to join our team, working with Fraud and Claims technology. You will be working with a cross-functional team of engineers to develop, test, and implement services, applications, and data analytics platforms which are critical to make Wells Fargo safe for the customers; thus playing key role in the growth of the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in building end to end solutions at scale, as well as have solid background with micro-services and UI technologies. You will be working with a talented team spread across multiple locations across US and India.

    In this role, you will:

    + Act as an advisor to leadership to develop or influence applications, network, information security, database, operating systems, or web technologies for highly complex business and technical needs across multiple groups

    + Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring in-depth evaluation across multiple areas or the enterprise, delivering solutions that are long-term, large-scale and require vision, creativity, innovation, advanced analytical and inductive thinking

    + Translate advanced technology experience, an in-depth knowledge of the organizations tactical and strategic business objectives, the enterprise technological environment, the organization structure, and strategic technological opportunities and requirements into technical engineering solutions

    + Provide vision, direction and expertise to leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions

    + Maintain knowledge of industry best practices and new technologies and recommends innovations that enhance operations or provide a competitive advantage to the organization

    + Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers across the enterprise and serve as an expert advisor to leadership

    Required Qualifications:

    + 7+ years of Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

    Desired Qualifications:

    + 7+ years of technology development and strategy experience in data engineering, software development or related domains.

    + Define and execute the strategic vision for the **Fraud data technology portfolio,** including data engineering, storage, processing and analytics platforms

    + Proficiency in programming languages such as **Java, Python or Go**

    + Technology development and strategy experience in Software engineering and development.

    + Must have Experience in deploying application in Cloud

    + Expertise in data technologies, including **cloud platforms (Open Shift, GCP** ), distributed systems (Hadoop, Spark)

    + Experience in designing and implementing AI architectures, with a focus on GenAI and Agentic AI technologies.

    Job Expectations:

    + Willingness to work on-site at stated location on the job opening

    + This position offers a hybrid work schedule

     

    Pay Range

     

    Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

     

    $144,400.00 - $300,000.00
