PCM is a high-performance team that owns multiple tier1 services. Our software is used by businesses all across Amazon, including Stores, Kindle, Amazon Music, Alexa, 3P sellers, and many more. Come help us build scalable, resilient, performant services for all of our many customers!

Key job responsibilities

- Experience building complex software systems that were successfully delivered to customers.

- Knowledge of professional software engineering best practices for the full life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.

- Ability to take a project from scoping requirements through actual launch.

- Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, describe software features, and technical designs.

Basic Qualifications

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience

- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience

- Experience programming with at least one software programming language

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
