The Relay Central organization in Middle Mile Product and Tech (MMPT) is constantly innovating new ways to streamline the experience for carriers to onboard into Relay, and reach their first moment of value as quickly as possible. You will own the end-to-end carrier experience that shapes a carrier's first impression of Relay - from interest to booking their first load. Your work will help thousands of trucking entrepreneurs quickly understand the value of Relay and get to work, faster. Using data, you will be able to quickly identify points of friction to influence stakeholders and leaders, uncovering new investment opportunities. You will need to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams worldwide and within Middle Mile Transportation Technology to solve problems, create operational efficiencies, and deliver successfully against high organizational standards. You should be able to apply a breadth of tools, data sources, and analytical techniques to answer a wide range of high-impact business questions and proactively present new insights in concise and effective manner. You will work directly with partners in engineering, UX, product marketing, and Operations to launch new products and features that enhance our ability help onboard new carriers faster - all way providing a delightful onboarding journey.
Key job responsibilities
• Define product strategy and roadmap to simplify and accelerate carrier onboarding into Relay, helping new carriers reach their first moment of value as quickly as possible
• Partner with UX and engineering to deliver intuitive, self-service onboarding flows
• Use data and customer feedback to identify pain points and improve lead conversion rates
• Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to align messaging and reduce drop-off during onboarding
• Design and experiment with personalization, nudges, and educational content to support new carriers
• Establish success metrics and dashboards to measure onboarding efficiency and carrier activation
• Launch and scale onboarding features globally with localization as needed
• Serve as the voice of the new carrier, advocating for their needs across Relay’s product teams
• Create, maintain, and disseminate project information to stakeholders and management across our organization via flashes, reviews, launches including identifying potential bottlenecks, overlapping work areas, or other project risks
• Coordinate cross-functional initiatives to reduce onboarding time and increase day-1 engagement
• Partner across product teams to apply new technologies to your program area

The MMPT organization builds software systems that work across our vendors, warehouses and carriers to optimize both time and cost of getting the packages delivered. Our services already handle thousands of requests per second, make business decisions impacting billions of dollars a year, integrate with a network of small and large carriers, owner operators and drivers worldwide, manage business rules for millions of unique products, and improve ordering and delivery experience for millions of online shoppers. That said, this remains a fast growing business and our technical journey has only started. Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience as a product manager or owner
- Experience owning technology products
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, economics, computer science, data science, engineering, or other related field
- Knowledge of key customer experience metrics and methodology (e.g., NPS)
- Experience in using statistical analysis to identify issues or opportunities for improvement
- MBA

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
