The **Payload and Ground Systems** organization within the **Northrop Grumman Space Systems** pushes the boundaries of innovation, redefines engineering capabilities, and drives advances in various sciences. This position will report to the AI&T Production PM for Speargun and be responsible for:
+ Strategizing long-term production planning and improvements.
+ Cost and schedule deliverables for their respective assembly level of AI&T.
+ Leading and directing a team of Engineers and SMSs to meet cost and schedule goals.
+ Coordination of production staffing needs.
+ Standardization of AI&T training & practices.
+ Developing and adhering to budget baselines utilizing Earned Value Management (EVM) on a recurring basis.
+ Maintaining and adhering to executable integrated master schedules (IMS).
+ Continuous Improvement of test and assembly processes and procedures.
+ Expediting solutions to throughput and cost detractors.
+ Maintenance of tiered escalation meetings.
+ Prioritization of program specific SQDCM and PCAB activities.
+ Interface with NHA operations with respect to delivery scheduling.
+ Coordinating Risk and Opportunity execution for the production program.
+ Developing and delivering presentations to customers, executive management and other program stakeholders.
+ Coordinating change control board activities internally and with the Customer
+ Consistently making time to seek and incorporate input from customers and understanding their expectations. Demonstrating commitment and energy to meet customer needs (Internally and Externally).
Basic Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree and 8 years’ or Master’s degree and 6 years’ experience supporting government contracts and/or project management in other industries.
+ Experience leading the performance of tasks on schedule, at cost and achieving all requirements as either project lead, integrated program team or cost account manager
+ Demonstrated success leading teams and/or organizations to achieve a common goal.
+ **Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret** security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with the ability to obtain and maintain SCI approval/access.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Proven experience with Assembly, Integration and Test.
+ The ability to apply knowledge, insights and understanding of business and financial concepts, tools and processes to the benefit of program decisions, actions, and performance.
+ The ability to identify and address program impacts through a systematic, proactive, approach to issue and problem resolution that identifies, communicates, monitors, and promptly resolves conflicts across all levels of the program.
+ The ability to recognize and respond to customer needs to develop additional sales that support organizational objectives.
+ The ability to address program uncertainty through an organized and analytical forward-looking approach that identifies risks and opportunities, determines appropriate handling plans, and manages, controls, and communicates risks and opportunities throughout the lifecycle of the program.
+ Demonstrated expertise in Passive RF technology development.
Salary Range: $149,400.00 - $224,000.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
