Northrop Grumman Space Systems—Launch and Missile Defense Systems offers an exciting career opportunity for a Sr Principal SW Development Analyst – Global Integration SME (25-243) to join our team of qualified and diverse individuals. This position, located at Schriever Space Force Base in Colorado Springs, CO, plays a crucial role in supporting the U.S. President, Secretary of Defense, and combatant commanders at strategic, regional, and operational levels.

Position Overview:
The Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program integrates the Missile Defense System. This vital operational system enables the U.S. president, secretary of defense, and combatant commanders at strategic, regional, and operational levels to systematically plan ballistic missile defense operations, collectively monitor the battle's evolution, and dynamically manage assigned networked sensors and weapon systems to achieve global and regional mission objectives. C2BMC supports a layered missile defense capability that enables an optimized response to threats of all ranges at every phase of flight. C2BMC serves as a force multiplier on both a global and regional scale. Networks integrate and synchronize autonomous sensors and weapon systems to improve performance. C2BMC is critical for all system ground and flight tests, which verify and exercise the capabilities of all current and future missile defense systems.
Essential Functions:
The position is in a fast-paced, dynamic environment near Colorado Springs at Schriever Space Force Base.
+ Integrate JEMINI Lab test suites into our development lab
+ Assist software development personnel in investigating and resolving issues
+ Develop configurations to support the testing and prototyping of developing systems
+ Create and modify scripts for data analysis of input, internal, and output message data.
+ Troubleshoot both test and prototype issues
+ Develop troubleshooting procedures and workaround documents
+ Review and provide feedback on system specifications, development, testing, and network documents as necessary, and represent the Integration team
+ Automate scripting to configure and maintain remote hosts
+ Previous experience as a SW Tester/Integrator
+ Hands-on experience with DoD integration processes:
+ **Agile**
+ **DevOps methodologies**
+ **Automated test tools**
Basic Qualifications:
Please note your updated security clearance and IAT/relevant certifications on your resume, if applicable.
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Software Engineering, or related discipline preferred from an accredited university and 8 years of experience, or a Master’s degree in a related discipline and 6 years of experience, or 12 years of related experience instead of a degree may be considered
+ Applicants must possess a current, active, in-scope DoD-issued **Secret** security clearance at the time of application, which is necessary to start, and the ability to obtain Top Secret clearance
+ DoD 8140 certification at **IAT Level II or higher** (Security+ CE, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, CCNA Security, etc.) is required to start
+ Extremely proficient in **Linux** and scripting ( **Bash, Python** )
+ High-level understanding of automation and implementation
+ Highly skilled in troubleshooting methods
+ Solid knowledge of virtualized environments and software testing
+ Experience with the integration of system components in a test environment
+ Familiarity with virtualized systems, security design, and implementation
+ Proven experience with Ansible and other automation tools
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Current and Active in-scope DoD-issued **Top Secret** clearance is highly desired
+ Experience developing scripts in Ansible
+ Knowledge of Containerized Virtual Environments
+ Experience with Windows Server and PowerShell scripting
+ Experience setting up, configuring, and maintaining databases
+ Script experience is highly preferred

Additional Northrop Grumman Information:
Salary Range: $124,900.00 - $187,300.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
