    What you’ll do

     

    + Operate and observe autonomous vehicles in realistic warehouse scenarios

    + Follow structured procedures to check vehicle behavior and system performance

    + Watch for anomalies, weird behavior, or safety concerns — and help dig into why

    + Simulate edge cases and uncommon events to see how the system responds

    + Capture observations clearly and share them with engineers

    + Use tools like logs, dashboards, and basic command-line tools to support your work

    + Occasionally recreate issues or walk through updates to see what’s changed .

     

    What you should bring

     

    + Hands-on experience with autonomous vehicles, industrial robots, CNC machines, PLC or SCADA systems, or other automation equipment for manufacturing or warehousing applications

    + Ability to follow test procedures, execute tests, evaluate results, and document findings

    + Experience using command line utilities to install and configure software, review log files, and diagnose issues

    + Experience troubleshooting integrated hardware and software systems, identifying the potential cause of failures, and documenting findings

    + General knowledge of how software and technology products are developed and tested

    + Practical knowledge of safety standards around industrial robots and other industrial automation equipment is a plus

    + Fanatical attention to detail and ability to catch what others miss

    + Curiosity and the drive to ask “why” when something doesn’t behave as expected

    + Ability to change and ambiguity in a resourceful, positive, and professional manner
